Sales Development Intern@ Safety Connect

We are searching for a committed, deadline-driven sales intern to join our excellent sales team. The sales intern will complete all tasks assigned by the manager, which may include conducting market research, identifying business opportunities, managing email campaigns, generating sales leads, making cold calls, participating in meetings, and assisting the Sales department wherever possible. You should be able to take instruction, but also work unsupervised when required.

To be successful as a sales intern, you should be willing to learn as much about the company as possible and be able to spot opportunities that have been overlooked by others. Outstanding sales interns are problem solvers who know the value of building lasting, professional relationships with clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Hubspot, cold calls, and email to generate new sales opportunities

  • Identify the needs of prospects, and suggest appropriate solutions

  • Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities

  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market

  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives

  • Report to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Business or related field

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
