Role Description:As a Software Development Engineer II - Frontend at ShipBob, you will be responsible for developing the culture of engineering excellence in our frontend applications while at the same time aid in other parts of the development process, including but not limited to frontend development tooling, DevOps, and backend.
What you’ll do:
Establishes a culture of engineering excellence.
Subject-matter expert for Vue or any similar component based frontend programming language.
Writes correct and clean code; consistently follows stated best practices.
Participates in technical design of features with guidance.
Other duties/responsibilities as necessary.
What you’ll bring to the table:
1-5 years of experience.
Experience in the following:
Frontend fundamentals - HTML, CSS/SCSS, Javascript/NodeJS
Modern Frontend frameworks like React, Vue (preferred), Angular.
REST API Development and Practices.
Nice to have:
Experiences in decoupling frontend monoliths into micro-frontends.
Experience with Agile.
Experience automating infrastructure (Azure).
Experience automating build process (Azure).
Experience with Terraform.
Reports to: Manager, Software Development
